Our venture was born in 1996, from the hard work and passion of Mrs.
Amale Harb, the founder, who started picking the best herbs, vegetables and
fruits her garden had to offer, and used old-age methods to preserve them. Her
small venture was built on the ancient belief that all good things are made by
hand, hence the name “Ayadina” which translates into “handmade”.
Working out of her kitchen, she perfected recipes and used pure
natural ingredients, hand packing every product in tastefully decorated jars
and enchanting labels. From aromatic dried herbs to pickled wild cucumbers, she
developed a range of pantry products and preserves, sold in selected
high-quality retailers and delis.
As Ayadina’s line-up expanded, Amale developed a network of farmers
and small producers from whom she sourced Lebanon’s most beloved ingredients
and transferred her carefully curated knowledge to the team who crafts our
products today.
Her son Roy and his partner Nathalie have joined hands to expand
and perpetuate the family legacy into future generations. Working from a
dedicated kitchen, they continue to preserve the goodness of seasonal
ingredients, adding new varieties to the mix and developing new recipes, in
line with evolving dietary needs and food safety conditions. Wherever you are
in Lebanon or beyond, you can order your own batch of home-grown ingredients
and enjoy their simple, wholesome natural goodness.
